I chose Olin because of its strong reputation for valuing its employees. I was looking for a position that would challenge me to learn many things from a variety of angles. Olin has exceeded my expectations. Throughout my three years at Olin, I have been surrounded by a team that is constantly encouraging me to perform to the best of my ability. I have learned so many skills and lessons that I can carry with me throughout my career. I am very appreciative for this experience and for the team that I am able to learn from.

I chose Olin based on my intership experience! The team I worked with made me very comfortable from the beginning. They were always willing to help, and they trusted me with meaningful projects. Olin cares about its people and sets them up to succeed in the best way possible. Olin’s culture is what makes it different from other employers. Being able to a have a family in the workplace is very important and Olin continues to provide me that. I am grateful for the relationships and opportunities Olin has given in such a short amount of time!

I chose to work for Olin because my interests have always lain in the chemical industry, and I’ve heard so many great things from others who have worked for Olin. I enjoy the hands-on work and I appreciate the knowledge I’ve obtained. Every day is an opportunity to learn and work on something new. From a few months’ experience, I’ve gained an abundance of knowledge. One thing that sets Olin apart from other companies is the commitment to safety.  Each incident is treated as a learning experience and measures are put in place to ensure the same incident does not occur twice.

I chose Olin because I saw it as an opportunity to contribute and make a difference in people’s lives. The company’s core values align with what I believe is essential in choosing an employer. After nine years, I am still learning and growing as if it was my first year, continuously being challenged to solve interesting and complex problems. In addition, I have the support of my leadership to develop and shape my career towards my professional interests and abilities. Olin has put me in positions to cultivate skills outside what is considered a “normal” path of a Chemical Engineer. I have had the opportunity to lead people of diverse backgrounds in multiple projects impacting the company’s supply chain, business, and financial operations. What makes Olin different from other companies is its commitment to its people. As its core values state, employees define Olin’s future. Olin understands that its people make the difference.

Why Olin? I chose Olin based on the opportunities, the relationships, and the experiences I had throughout my three Co-Op semesters with the company. During my time as an Intern, there were no shortage of learning opportunities. I went from a minimal understanding of pumps to knowing how to tear one down. I was encouraged to ask questions and was included in the planning of capital projects. While working on these tasks, I made relationships that lasted outside of the workplace. Olin is a company that I can continue to grow in with the flexibility to determine my own career path. I have had the opportunity to work in 3 states along with travel opportunities. I knew that if I wanted to stay in one place for the rest of my life, I could do that with Olin. I also knew if I wanted to move across the country to work in California, I could do that with Olin. Olin is a company that will stand the test of time with opportunities that will last a lifetime.
